The Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation provides hearing aid assistance for low-income Georgia residents. The Lighthouse's hearing services include a digital hearing aid and four follow-up visits. The Lighthouse doe

A list of hearing providers by city can be found here. On November 1, 2007, the Lighthouse launched a new digital hearing aid program. Eligible clients are assisted with an affordable package that includes:
- a digital hearing aid from Unitron with a 3-year warranty. An analog hearing aid is also available for those who do not respond well to the digital aid.
- an earmold, and
- 3 appointments to a Lighthouse hearing provider's office.

To qualify for the Lighthouse Hearing Aid Program you must:
- Be a Resident of Georgia
- Meet Household Income Eligibility Requirements

Have a current hearing test (within the last six months) from a Lighthouse Provider. Please see our list of hearing providers by city, or download a list of hearing providers.
- Have a recommendation from an audiologist or hearing aid dispenser
- Mail in complete application with documentation to the Lighthouse. Download a hearing aid application (en español).
Important Notice: As required by state law – Audiograms are only valid for six months from the date the tests were performed. It is the client’s responsibility to send us all paperwork and payments for the hearing aid package within six months of completion of the tests.
