White Cane is a Lions-run fundraiser that supports the Lighthouse's eye surgery program. April is officially White Cane month, but White Cane activities occur throughout the year. Workplace Giving
As most federal and state agencies are kicking up their efforts surrounding employee charitable campaigns, now is the perfect time to remember that the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation is in need of your support! The CFC and SCCP programs can be set up through simple payroll deductions as a one-time gift or as a monthly deduction for the organization of your choice.
Consider setting up a charitable contribution through your agency’s program today! Here are some details to get you started:
- The federal program, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the world's largest annual workplace charity campaign, helping to raise millions of dollars every year. If you are a federal employee, contact your local CFC office and tell them to sign you up for organization 52771! - The state program, the State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP)! SCCP is an employee benefit for State and University system employees to contribute to charities of their choice through payroll deductions or a one-time donation.
