Do you work for the federal or state government?

As most federal and state agencies are kicking up their efforts surrounding employee charitable campaigns, now is the perfect time to remember that the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation is in need of your support!  The CFC and SCCP programs can be set up through simple payroll deductions as a one-time gift or as a monthly deduction for the organization of your choice.

Why you should consider the Lighthouse when making your choice:

• In 2010, the Lighthouse provided over 4,000 pairs of eyeglasses, 2,800 eye exams, 350 sight-saving surgeries, and 1,700 digital hearing aids.
• We are Georgia’s only provider of low-cost hearing aids to low income Georgians and the only eye surgery provider for Georgians without insurance.
• Recent growth of the Lighthouse has increased the number of clients by 500% while our budget has only tripled.
• For every $1 donated, $5 worth of services can be provided through partnerships with doctors across the state.

Consider setting up a charitable contribution through your agency’s program today!  Here are some details to get you started:

• The federal program, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the world's largest annual workplace charity campaign, helping to raise millions of dollars every year.  If you are a federal employee, contact your local CFC office and tell them to sign you up for organization 52771! • The state program, the State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP), is an employee benefit for State and University system employees to contribute to charities of their choice through payroll deductions or a one-time donation.
